This is a DesktopX widget. You must have DesktopX installed (need not be running) on your system to use. A stand-alone gadget form is in the works, probably.
The Hardest Button to Button minimizes and restores windows while leaving your widgets, desklets, docks, bars, special icons, etc. untouched.
This new version of THBtB is jam-packed with features:
* This widget is skinnable.
>Drop a *.png file on the widget to change its appearance
>Drop a *.wav file on the widget to change sound effect (Or you can disable the sound effect in the widget preferences)
>Standard DesktopX settings can be used to re-color, change opacity, or add shadow
* New script based action is fast and responsive
* Persistent On-Top. Set this widget to be on-top and it STAYS on-top
* Variable size. Use a slider in the Preferences to change size to suit your usage needs
* Three methods of activation
>Mouse Over (default)
>Mouse Click
>User defined hotkey (can be used interchangably with your choice of mouse activation)
Even if you don't think you need a better way to minimize windows, I hope you'll check out this widget just to play with it.
Important: After loading the widget for the first time, please Right Click -> Select Properties -> Select Appearance Tab -> Select "Always On Top" from Z-Order Drop Down
This ensures optimal functionality, and you only need to do that once; everything else works right out of the box.
See the About -> More Information window for additional tips and tricks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
